Project Overview
For Morgan Capital, we undertook a high-end fit-out at their Stratford Place location in the heart of London. Despite the shorter timeframe, we delivered a sleek and functional design, integrating oak finishes, acoustic panels, and bespoke joinery. The main elements of this project included boardroom and meeting room acoustic panel walls, tea points, banquette seating, and a TV feature wall with oak slats. Each feature was designed to enhance both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the office, resulting in a sophisticated workspace that aligns with Morgan Capital’s professional image.
A particular highlight for us was the installation of the tea point worktops, where the grain of the Corian material stood out beautifully. We took extra care to match the grain and pattern to flow seamlessly up the backsplash, a decision that added significant work but produced a stunning visual effect. It’s this attention to detail that made the final look well worth the effort.
Favourite Moment
Our favourite part of the project was installing the Corian worktops at the tea points. The grain and pattern of the Corian were so unique that we decided to extend the grain up the backsplash, making the design even more seamless. While this decision added more work, the final look was stunning and worth the extra effort.
Challenges Faced
The biggest challenge of this project was installing the TV frame for the AV wall. The frame was quite heavy, and getting it into position required extra coordination and care. However, with careful planning and teamwork, we were able to install it successfully.
Final Thoughts
This project was a prime example of how attention to detail can elevate a space. The decision to align the Corian grain along the worktops and backsplash at the tea points resulted in a stunning visual effect that truly set the space apart. Despite some challenges, like the weight of the TV frame, the final outcome was a high-end, cohesive office that reflects the sophisticated, professional image of Morgan Capital.
