The Capital 38 project was a compact yet intricate undertaking involving a combination of reception and office fit-outs, wall panelling, bespoke storage solutions, and tea points. Designed to blend sophistication and functionality, the project required meticulous attention to detail and a range of high-quality materials, including Egger, Corian, and Silestone. One of the standout features was the use of brass highlights, adding a touch of elegance and refinement to the final spaces.
Favourite Moment
Our favourite moment was seeing how the brass highlights transformed the final product. The gleaming brass accents perfectly complemented the other materials, creating a luxurious and cohesive aesthetic. It was a proud moment to step back and see how impactful these subtle details were in elevating the entire design.
Challenges Faced
A unique challenge of this project was entrusting two of our junior joiners to take the lead on installing key elements, such as the curved reception desk. While it was a big responsibility, it was also a fantastic opportunity to grow their confidence and skill set. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and we were proud to see them rise to the occasion.
Final Thoughts
The detailed brass work truly set this project apart and was a highlight for us. It’s not often we work with such intricate metal accents, and this experience pushed us to explore new techniques and materials. The result was a highly polished and professional space that stood out from our typical projects.
